5/1 – Jeff’s “Lovely” Monday Evening Forecast
Gorgeous conditions aided by clear skies and dry air will linger for much of the week. High pressure is in control for much of the eastern two-thirds of the United States with the exception of the Great Lakes and Northeast regions. Other than a few clouds later in the evening, expect cool conditions overnight and out the door tomorrow morning.
Sunny skies will dominate much of tomorrow until clouds move in later on. Cloud coverage will turn partly cloudy tomorrow evening and night. Wednesday and Thursday will be dominated by sunshine with only a few passing clouds in the picture. It will take until Thursday for the flow to go from westerly to more southerly.
Moisture will begin to slowly increase during the latter half of the week. Disturbances within the flow will begin to approach our area Friday through much of the weekend. Fine details are not quite there yet but expect rain chances and increased cloud coverage from Friday through at least Sunday. There is an outlook for above average rainfall in the extended forecast.
