4/5 – Rob’s “(Slight) SEVERE THREAT Forecast
As morning as a cold front from the west approaches…showers and t-storms have developed along the Southern 6. The NWS has extended the TORNADO WATCH east of our area…back to he west to include Jackson/Gorge &Greene counties. The greatest threat for a few t-storms to become SEVERE will be this morning through midday as the energy moves to he east. This afternoon will continue to bring isolated/scattered showers & t-storms with clearing coming this evening as the cold front moves east. COLDER/DRIER air will move in and shape our forecast into and through the “Palm Sunday” weekend.
