4/14 – Rob’s “Good Friday” Morning Forecast
As high-pressure to the east provides for a bit of a blocking patter and moisture flow, the Easter weekend will bring partly to mostly cloudy skies…especially Easter Sunday. Rain potential will be in the area but west of I-55 on Saturday. Easter Sunday will bring a 30% chance for a few AFTERNOON showers/t-storms as an easterly wave over the north/central GOM moves west. This wave will get caught in the upper-level flow and keep a low rain potential into early next week at 20-30%.
