4/1 – Rob’s “WET April Fools Day” Forecast

A very slow moving cold front has been dumping quite a bit of rain in the local area. Since sunrise, rain has been accumulating at a rate of ½-1” per hour with many locations over the inch mark. The area continues to be under a FLASH FLOOD WATCH, as run-off and drainage will flow to low-lying areas and flood rapidly…including areas along rivers. Rain will continue into tonight finally tapering-off from west to east around midnight. The clouds will continue through much of the day Saturday, finally clearing late afternoon. Drier air and breezy conditions will move in to close-out the weekend.
