4/9 – Payton’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

We are under the influence of the weak surface low to the north. It’s giving us wrap-around clouds and light showers this morning and that will continue into the afternoon. Keep the rain gear nearby today, but overall rain should be rather light. The sun will start to mix with clouds later this afternoon as well. Wednesday and Thursday will be sunny and mild. Friday moisture increases ahead of a frontal boundary and we could see a few showers. Saturday into Sunday a strong storm system looks to move through the region. Right now it’s too early to know the exact timing of this system, but for now it appears the best chance for heavy rain and even strong t-storms will be sometime Sunday. You’ll want to stay tuned to this forecast, but in the meantime enjoy the sunshine over the next few days!
