4/4 – Payton’s Thursday Morning Forecast
Starting off the morning warmer and dry. That changes this morning as showers and t-storms move in throughout the day. Heavy rain will be possible on and off all day long. By this afternoon a warm front will move through the area increasing the chance for severe t-storms. We will be watching another round of heavy rain and t-storms later this evening into tonight. These could produce high winds, small hail and even isolated tornadoes. Make sure you have a way to receive weather alerts. You can download our free WXXV Weather App. It will alert you if a severe t-storm is in your area. By Friday rain chances decrease, but we will likely see a few showers and t-storms. Saturday looks to be the best day with warm temperatures and plenty of clouds. A few showers are possible, but not likely. Sunday another storm system will ramp up the rain chances once again. A few of these could be strong to severe. Monday will features a few showers, but we finally dry out by Tuesday into Wednesday.
