4/30 – Jeff Vorick’s “Cool” Sunday Night Forecast

Cool conditions will be present out the door tomorrow morning. High pressure and northwesterly flow building into the region will allow for dry conditions for much of the week. Temperatures will reach the upper-70s to even low-80s Monday afternoon. Winds will be westerly on average across the area. Dry air will be in place for much of the first part of the week.

Other than passing clouds at times, much of the weather will be benign for the middle of the week. Ridge of high pressure will be the dominant factor shaping the forecast. By the end of the week, the ridge will begin to break down. Pieces of energy will travel along the flow and bring the potential for showers and thunderstorms towards the end of this week and this weekend.
