4/18 – Jeff’s “Clearing Skies” Tuesday Night Forecast

Cloud coverage will dissipate overnight as a disturbance is weakening under the influence of high pressure. Expect mostly cloudy skies to turn to a few clouds by daybreak tomorrow. The cloud coverage plus increasing humidity will help keep temperatures slightly warmer overnight. The next couple of days will be very typical of spring across our area. Humidity will be on the increase as southerly flow on the western end of high pressure will be dominant.

Quiet weather will turn busier as a cold front and piece of energy on the tail end of it move in for Friday. Shower and thunderstorm chances will elevate Friday. There is the potential for multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms. A complex of thunderstorms will ride the Gulf Coast. Then, there will be the potential for showers and thunderstorms with the cold front. Skies will clear after the front through this weekend.
