4/17 – Jeff’s “Pleasant” Monday Evening Forecast

High pressure dominating has lent itself to sunny skies across the region. Temperatures also warmed very efficiently today thanks to dry air and relatively light winds. Temperatures tonight will be chilly again under clear skies.

An impulse of energy moving from Texas into our area will provide for an increase in cloud coverage late Tuesday into Wednesday, but that’s about all that will come from it. High pressure moving to its east will lead to southerly flow returning midweek.

Moisture will be increasing ahead of a system that’s moving into the region. It will drape a cold front across the South Friday into Saturday providing for elevated rain chances into this weekend.
