4/1 – Rob Knight’s “Pleasant Weekend” Friday Afternoon Forecast

High pressure building in will bring a much drier air mass…a few degrees below our normal lows.

Over the next 3 days there will be about a 12-18hr window where the weather will be less than quiet. Less than quiet only because we could see some rain possibly only about I-10 south. As for today the ridge that is moving to the east across the central and northern Plains will mostly have greater impacts north of our area as we remain under mostly zonal flow. Overnight tonight things will begin to slow change and we could see a small window of rain after midnight Friday night. At the surface high pressure will gradually slide east allowing for return flow to start to set up but it will not be very strong. This will lead to the old front returning back towards the coast tonight with moisture returning but it will be rather slow as any substantial increase in the low level will take all night and much of Saturday morning.
