3/5 – Payton’s Mardi Gras Afternoon Forecast

Happy Mardi Gras! It’s a cold one, so make sure you have your jacket and gloves as you head out to celebrate! Tonight will be cold with lows in the lower 30s. There is a freeze warning across the entire coast. Wednesday will be similar to today with highs in the mid 50s with sunshine. By Thursday temperatures will climb as return flow moves in. Thursday will feature a few more clouds. Friday will be warmer with clouds and a few showers possible. Then our attention turns to Saturday. With it still being FIVE days away there are more unknowns than knowns right now. It does appear some area in the South will see some type of severe weather Saturday. It’s still too early to know exact locations, exact threats and the timing of t-storms. For now just continue to check back daily as we get a better idea of what this storm system could bring on Saturday. Continue to check back for updates.
