3/5 – Jeff Vorick’s “Rain Ending” Tuesday Evening Forecast

Expect rain and thunderstorms to come to an end this evening and rain-free conditions to commence overnight. You may encounter an isolated shower or two after sunset and roads will remain wet so be mindful of that if you need to be out and about. For the middle portion of the week, it will remain warm with temperatures above seasonal averages. Skies will clear out through a lot of your Wednesday with plenty of sunshine by the mid-to-late afternoon. Temperatures will be in the upper-70s with even a few spots hitting 80. Thursday brings increasing clouds but continued warm and rain-free conditions.

Big changes come for the end of the week. A dynamic storm system will be moving out of the Plains and draping a cold front into our area. Favorable dynamics favor a setup for severe weather with our area already outlined for the potential of it. Thunderstorms can be expected the second half of Friday into the first part of Saturday. Finer details will come to fruition the closer we get to the time. Be sure to stay tuned to your weather authority forecast.
