3/27 – Rob Knight’s Final Weekend of March Forecast

Heat will continue to break records daily until Sunday when a cold front visits early that morning. A thin line of showers should accompany the front as it slows while approaching the coast. The front should stall at the coast late Sunday.

As a strong disturbance comes through the 4 corners and into the southern and central Plains Monday it will continue to develop over the Southern Plains. Ahead of it on Monday we will have a chance of seeing showers due to additional life through the atmosphere, with maybe even some enhancement from a sea-breeze due to strong southerly winds. It will be another warm one with highs once again in the upper 70s to mid-80s. Wed and Thu will be far cooler, both afternoon highs and morning lows with even the outside chance of locations seeing lows in the upper 40s Thu morning. Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will be in the lower to mid-70s which could be about 15 degrees cooler than what we have seen the last few days however, that is actually closer to normal.
