3/14 – Rob Knight’s “Friday-Eve” Morning Forecast

Today should be fairly quiet with isolated to scattered showers over the region. There will be some instability to work with so I cannot rule out a thunderstorm or two. Overall we will probably be waiting on the front tonight before we get better rain coverage however, even with the front most of the upper level support will still be north of the area.

Frontal passage should occur around sunrise Friday with lingering showers behind the front through Saturday morning. This weekend should be fairly pleasant for much of the area. The front will slowly work south into the Gulf so we may still have some lingering clouds near the coast along with very light rain but most of the region will remain dry and under Mostly cloudy skies Saturday…more sunshine Sunday. Heading into next week it looks quiet and dry with sunshine and a beautiful day for the start of Spring.
