2/23 – Rob’s “SEVERE” Forecast

As a cold front to the west continues to develop…the GULF SOUTH is in a MODERATE THREAT for SEVERE STORMS through tonight. As the system moves east, anticipate multiple watches and warning to accompany along with a TORNADO WATCH which will be issued later this morning. Isolated thunderstorms will move into the area late this morning with hte activity increasing this afternoon. SW Mississippi will have the brunt of the energy midday through 6 pm…with the main threat timing for south Mississippi between 5 pm though the midnight, as the cold front pushes east.
