2/16 – Rob’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

In the wake of a vigorous cold front which affect the area yesterday afternoon/evening, cold temperatures and patchy dense fog has developed. The fog will burn off shortly after sunrise with sunny skies and WARM temperatures to continue. A cool-down is typical behind cold fronts…but with very little cold air behind this front and a return flow compliments of high-pressure in SE’tern Tx…warm temps from the Gulf will continue to advect into the region. With compressional heating and sunny skies through the rest of the week, temps will max out in the low 70s by the weekend.
