2/16 – Rob’s “Friday Eve” Warming Forecast

After the clouds cleared yesterday afternoon…light winds and clear skies brought cold overnight temps to the area. This morning will bring a rapid warm-up as high-pressure to the SW begins to move to the NE. The warming trend heading into the Presidents’ Day weekend will begin tonight as increasing humidity will have temps about 10/12 degrees warmer tonight. A warm front from the SW’tern Gulf of Mexico will move NE into the area overnight Friday into Saturday morning. Showers will begin moving in late Friday night into early Saturday morning before ejecting to the NE. Skies will clear Saturday afternoon with WARMER TEMPS continuing through early next week.
