Today is very similar to yesterday. Highs will be in the low 90s with heat index values over 100. There is a low chance for a few downpours, but most will stay dry today. This continues through the remainder of the workweek, but rain chances will eventually increase this weekend a tropical disturbance moves through the Northern Gulf of Mexico. Development chances are relatively low as the system moves into the Gulf of Mexico, but it’s not zero. An upper level low should keep the system messy with rain being the main concern. It’s something we’ll keep an eye on though. Two other disturbances in the Atlantic will have to be long term, but they’re no immediate threat to land.
