4/25 – Payton’s Thursday Night Forecast

Still seeing one or two small showers move through, but most are dry as the cold front approaches. It was a bumpy day for some, but fortunately most of the severe weather stayed over the waters this afternoon. We did have damage reported near the Kiln from t-storms earlier this morning. We still don’t have confirmation from the National Weather Service if it was a tornado. Now we continue to watch the rain move out of the area this evening. The clearing line will move through most of South Mississippi over the next several hours. Clear and mild temperatures for Friday…and the good news it doesn’t stop there. Friday through Monday look to be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s! The next storm system looks like it could bring a few showers Tuesday into Wednesday, but overall it doesn’t appear it will be a strong storm system.
