2/6 – Jeff Vorick’s “Temps Dropping Off” Tuesday Evening Forecast
Sunshine dominated today and afternoon temperatures certainly overachieved with several spots in the 70s. Temperatures plummet fairly quickly this evening thanks to winds backing off and skies remaining clear. Overnight low temperatures will be around seasonal averages with upper-30s to lower-40s.
Sunshine will be around again for Wednesday with some thin upper-level clouds streaming in. Winds shifting to a southeasterly direction will bring a cooler marine layer in so beachfront spots likely won’t hit 70 degrees. More clouds are around Thursday with an active subtropical jet stream taking hold.
A much warmer stretch takes hold by the end of this week. Afternoon temperatures will warm into the 70s Friday-on, and mornings will be mild in the 50s. Rain chances come into play as early as Friday and gradually trend upward through the end of the weekend.
