2/29 – Jeff’s “Rain Arrives Late” Thursday Night Forecast
Rain will be moving into the area prior to sunrise Friday. Expect coverage of showers and embedded thunderstorms to peak during the morning hours, and rainfall to move out by the afternoon. Some thunderstorms could produce localized pockets of flooding so be mindful of that if you have to be out and about. Breezy, but improving conditions are expected for the afternoon.
This weekend will bring dry time but Saturday will start off with isolated showers and even a rumble of thunder or two. Sunday only brings a 20% chance of stray showers. Another stretch of unsettled conditions arrives for the new week and first full week of March as another disturbance forms on a stalled frontal boundary. The latter half of Monday through much of Tuesday features windows of time with more heavy rain possible.
