2/26 – Payton’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Today will bring on and off showers with a few downpours. Any strong t-storms should remain to the south through the afternoon. By tonight though we will see another round of thunderstorms and these could be strong to severe. The timing looks to be after 10 PM through around 2 AM. There could be high winds and hail in these t-storms, so it will be something to watch. Make sure to turn on your weather radio before bed and download our WXXV Weather App. It will wake you if severe weather is moving through your area tonight. By tomorrow morning the heaviest t-storms will be out of the area with lingering showers for your Wednesday. The warmer temperatures are here for the rest of the week. Rain showers continue through Saturday. Saturday for the night parade there will be a chance for showers, but the heaviest rain will likely hold off until Sunday when a cold front moves through. Winter isn’t over just yet. Next week looks colder and wet.
