12/21 – Rob’s “First Day of Winter” Forecast

High-pressure to he NE is moving to the SE and is currently providing for an East wind through the local area. This morning fog has emerged once again…just not as bad as yesterday. The fog/low clouds will burn off by midday with upper-level clouds lingering in the region, associated with the jet stream. A very fast moving cold front will move through the area tomorrow morning with a couple of light showers. Drier conditions will move in for Friday with another cold front approaching for the Christmas weekend. Temps for Christmas eve/Christmas Day will be in the 70s with rain moving in on Christmas day.
