12/13 Ryan’s “Cooler Day/Warmer Night” Wednesday Forecast

Today was a much cooler day as expected, but tonight will warm about 15 degrees from last night, keeping the South MS temperature roller-coaster alive. We are now beginning a warming trend which will continue through tonight, tomorrow afternoon, and even tomorrow night before we’ll see another weak front move into the area. This boundary will begin stalling as it moves through, only being weakly forced by a succession of troughs, and will do little more than increase cloud cover along the coastline and bring a small chance of showers. Temperatures will fall back into the 50s for a day or so, but will quickly warm back into the low 70s by Sunday. That’s when the most “robust” front will move through, bringing our most significant chance of showers and thunderstorms (~50%). These showers should linger into Monday, but will clear quickly after that, ushering in a much warmer week.
