12/07 Ryan’s “Cloudy” Wednesday Night Forecast

The area remains drier and stable, but a temperature inversion kept moisture trapped near the surface creating a low hanging cloud ceiling. These clouds will remain through the evening, but will begin to subside slowly during the overnight hours as colder air continues to filter into the Southeast. Expect tomorrow to be partly cloudy with a cooler high near 58. We’ll see temperatures falling through the night, lowering to 33 in Gulfport with inland areas in the 20s! Friday night’s temperatures falls even further, down to 30 on the coast and lower 20s inland. Be sure to take extra precautions during this two night period to protect outdoor pets, plants, or those without central heating. Temperatures rebound quickly after the high center moves East, bringing temps back to the mid to upper 60s by the start of next week.
