12/30 Ryan’s “2020’s Last Quiet” Wednesday Night Forecast

It has been quiet since our last front the morning of Christmas Eve, but strong weather is moving in quickly. We won’t see any changes tonight other than increasing cloud cover, so don’t expect much until after noon tomorrow. Much of the night will remain mostly clear, but it’ll be partly cloudy by sunrise with a low near 62.

I expect our first decent chance of activity at 9 AM, with the most significant passing through between 4 PM and 8 PM.

The severe threat for South MS tomorrow is “slight,” the threat is higher immediately to the west. It’s possible the increased threat could be inched into South MS as the afternoon wears on. Be sure to stay tuned to WXXV News 25 or my social media pages for updates as the storm arrives tomorrow. Be prepared to be “weather aware,” and ring in the New Year with more quiet weather by Friday.
