12/2 – Payton’s Sunday Night Forecast
A beautiful Sunday after a cold front sat offshore keeping the activity out of the area. That could change tonight with the boundary moving to the north. We could see one or two showers tonight, but most will be dry. By tomorrow another push of cooler, drier air will move through bringing the colder weather back. Tuesday the highs will be in the mid 50s and that will continue through Thursday. Wednesday and Thursday morning will be cold and dry with lows in the mid to upper 30s. I believe any freezing weather will be just to the north. By Friday we begin to see moisture return ahead of our next storm system. Models are agreeing we could see some heavy rainfall Saturday into Saturday night. It’s still too early to know if we’ll see any strong to severe thunderstorms, so you’ll want to check back throughout the week as we track this system. Behind that it looks like another cool down going into the beginning of next week.
