12/14 – Jeff’s “Changing Conditions” Thursday Night Forecast
Partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions remain overnight. Temperatures will be fairly mild compared to earlier this week. Friday will feature more sunshine and windy conditions at times. Two developing storm systems will influence our weather the next several days. Winds will be the dominant impact with coastal flooding in Hancock and Harrison County and a Gale Warning in effect until 12 Noon Saturday.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for Coastal Hancock County until 12 PM Saturday as well. Dependent on the track of the southern area of low pressure, our area could see light rain early Saturday. The highest confidence will come with rain arriving ahead of a cold front during the second half of Saturday. The cold front will bring clearing Sunday and a continuation of near-normal temperatures.
