12/11 – Payton’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast
It was a very cold start this morning, but it’s warming up slowly today. We’ll max out in the upper 50s, which is still below average for this time of year. By tomorrow we’ll start to watch moisture and clouds build in, but rain chances will hold off. Thursday will bring the greatest chance for showers and then eventually a few thunderstorms Thursday afternoon into Thursday night. There is a marginal threat for severe weather, so we can’t rule out one or two strong storms. By Friday clouds and a few shower will linger, but the heaviest rain will move off to the east. Saturday we will start to dry out and be cooler.
