11/29 Ryan’s “Foggy” Wednesday Evening Forecast

We still have a few degrees to cool, but foggy conditions are already beginning to pop up around South MS and will continue to do so through the night. We’ve seen gradually warming temperatures and increasing humidity all week long as expected, which means tonight will be the warmest and foggiest we’ve seen, but also that we’ll begin a slight cooling trend into the weekend. There isn’t much cold air advection with this system, so temperatures will only cool by about 5 degrees at coastal locations and a little more inland. Weather behind the front will be clear and mild, and these conditions will last through the weekend and into the next work week before increasing moisture will lead to more clouds and higher rain chances. It’s still a tad too early to be sure, but it seems a much stronger front could bring storms and Arctic air very soon. Watch for updates in the days to come.
