11/24 Ryan’s “Thanksgiving” Thursday Night Forecast
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope everyone enjoyed the fine weather we had today, as light cloud cover and plenty of sunshine moved in behind last night’s weak front. We didn’t see any cooling today, but things were a little drier and we’ll continue to see our temperatures slowly drop through the weekend. Daytime highs will remain in the upper 60s for Saturday and Sunday, though Friday will remain in the low 70s. Hopefully everyone travels home before next week, as we’re eyeing the develpment of a new frontal system, which is expected to be stronger than the last several that passed through. Thunderstorms and showers are expected, and severe weather is possible. Moisture will continue to pool in South MS Monday and Tuesday, with the front expected Tuesday night. Current models estimate at 1-2″ over the next week which will help our drought conditions greatly.
