11/26 – Rob’s “Clearing Skies” Monday Morning Forecast

The cold front continues to move further to our east as the cloud coverage lingers. Much cooler air will move in today and erode the clouds as well as elevate the winds. Wind gust will make it into the upper teens to low 20 mph especially later this afternoon as clearer skies move in.

Temps will struggle to get out of the 50s on today and we will have 2 nights of possible freezing temperatures across the northern portions of the forecast area.

Temperatures will moderate through the week as we get back closer to the 70s by midweek.

Expect a relatively dry week for the area. Rain chances will increase slightly Thursday and Friday, but all guidance points to a more significant system moving into the region by next weekend. If this system for the weekend stays in the forecast as advertised by some of the guidance it could be rather stormy next weekend. We will continue to watch this evolve in the guidance over the next several days.
