11/24 – Jeff’s “Some Sun” Friday Afternoon Forecast
Some opportunities for sunshine return this afternoon and rain chances are out of the equation. Expect cool conditions and a light breeze out of the northeast. Clouds clear out tonight and Saturday will provide for more opportunities for sunshine.
Upper-level clouds begin to stream in by tomorrow afternoon ahead of an area of low pressure that will be in our region Sunday. Rain chances will peak at around 40% in our area. Some spots could pick up a half-inch of rainfall.
The best ingredients for more widespread rain and thunderstorm activity will remain east of our area. A cold front moves through South Mississippi during the second half of Sunday which will bring a colder pattern into our region next week.
