11/24 – Jeff Vorick’s “Cool & Gloomy” Black Friday Morning Forecast

Cloud cover remains dominant for a lot of Black Friday with a cool and somewhat unsettled pattern around. There will be a 20% chance of sprinkles this morning before some peeks of sunshine return this afternoon. Temperatures will struggle to warm into the 60s.

More sunshine can be expected Saturday with only upper-level clouds streaming in for the second half of the day. An area of low pressure will move into the region Sunday which will bring a 30% chance of light rainfall. The bulk of rain and thunderstorm chances will set up to the east of our area.

A shot of colder air makes its way into South Mississippi for the beginning of next week. Skies will gradually clear out by midweek. Temperatures will be quite cold for several mornings next week and afternoons will feature below seasonal numbers.
