11/16 – Jeff’s “Peeks of Sunshine” Thursday Afternoon Forecast

Some sunshine returns this afternoon, particularly along the beachfront. Temperatures will be slightly warmer and right at the average high temperature this afternoon. Winds will also back off through the day and become less breezy by this evening.

Clouds will still stick around overnight with your Friday likely starting off with a low-level deck of clouds. There will be sunshine for the first portion of the day before more cloud cover moves in ahead of a cold front.

A weak cold front will help usher in more sunshine and a temporarily milder airmass for the weekend. Conditions will change quickly for the second half of the weekend though with humidity and temperatures recovering ahead of a potent storm system next week. Details need to be ironed out but the beginning of next week will feature the potential for thunderstorms.
