11/14 – Jeff Vorick’s “Breaks From Rain” Tuesday Morning Forecast
Light rain around at times this morning will fade and there will be a break in the action from this morning into the afternoon. With that, it will still remain gloomy through today and tomorrow. Rain will move develop and move back in this evening into tonight.
There will still be another inch or so of rainfall with locally higher amounts over the next 48 hours. The area of low pressure responsible for the unsettled pattern will gradually move eastward along the Gulf Coast and pulls away by the end of the week.
A cold front will make its way into South Mississippi by this weekend with a noticeable cool-down and clearer skies in its wake. A Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect for Harrison and Hancock County until 6 AM Thursday, and a Coastal Flood Advisory is in place for Jackson County due to easterly winds piling water along the shore.
