11/13 Ryan’s “Cold & Wet” Tuesday Evening Forecast

There’s no doubt about it, it’s cold & wet in South MS. The temperature has already fallen into the low 40s, and will only warm a few degrees in the afternoon sun tomorrow. That means the frigid night-time temperatures we’ve been expecting will finally begin to move in.

A Freeze Watch has already been issued for all six coastal counties, but the temperature won’t fall below 40 until tomorrow night.

Expect the evening low to remain in the 30s until at least Friday night, so while a hard freeze isn’t expected on the waterfront, the inland areas will be flirting with that range. All of next week will be drier and sunnier than this one has been. Afternoon highs will bottom out at around 47 degrees tomorrow, but will slowly inch upwards almost to 70 by the middle of next week.
