11/11 – Jeff Vorick’s “Beautiful Veterans Day” Friday Morning Forecast

Nicole is moving to the northeast through Georgia. With that, the upper-level cloud cover we have seen over the past couple of days is departing. Temperatures will soar to the upper-70s, nearing 80 today. Veterans Day activities will have zero issues throughout the entire day. West winds will increase to 8 to 12 MPH this afternoon.

Clouds roll in tonight ahead of our next cold front. The front will be through the area during the morning tomorrow. With its passage, there is a 30% chance of showers mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy skies will be in place through the day. Temperatures will fall from morning highs in the mid-60s to around 60 in the afternoon. The cold air takes effect overnight with rapid clearing and temperatures dropping into the 30s!

Sunday will be sunny with temperatures struggling to reach 60. Monday will be a day of transition in the pattern. An area of low pressure will form in the western Gulf of Mexico Sunday into Monday. The system will begin to influence our pattern in the afternoon. Cloud coverage will increase and rain chances go up the second half of the day. Monday night into Tuesday will be a soaker with the system’s arrival.
