10/6 – Rob’s Thursday Morning Forecast
With MAJOR HURRICANE MATTHEW affecting the Bahamas then Florida later today/tonight/tomorrow, the Gulf coast will continue under the dominance of high-pressure to our west. Sunny skies and warm temperature will continue through Saturday in advance of an approaching cold front. This dry frontal boundary will move through Saturday night, bringing cooler/drier to the region. Temperatures will return to seasonal number by Sunday and Columbus day…back into the low 80s; morning lows will drop to around 60 degrees.
