10/6 – Jeff’s “Cooler & Windy” Weekend Forecast
Skies will clear out overnight and winds will begin to pick up behind a cold front. Breezy and cooler conditions out the door tomorrow will turn windy through much of your Saturday. A Red Flag Warning will be in effect from 11 AM until 7 PM due to low humidity and windy conditions making burning especially hazardous. Burn bans are already in effect so be sure to follow orders from local authorities.
A Small Craft Advisory will also be in effect from tonight through Sunday. A few clouds can be expected tomorrow with winds gusting over 25 MPH at times. Be sure to secure any loose items especially for those of you attending Cruisin’ The Coast festivities. Winds relax by Sunday and the coldest of the air arrives.
The pattern will begin to moderate through the middle of next week. Winds will turn southerly by Tuesday and that’s when humidity begins to return. There are signals of an unsettled pattern for the middle-to-end of the week with multiple storm systems and another cold front coming in.
