10/6 – Jeff Vorick’s “Rain Exits” Friday Evening Forecast
Isolated rain is heading out of the area this evening. Clouds will gradually clear out overnight as a cold front passes through South Mississippi. Winds will begin to pick up as well. Saturday will start off with a few clouds and breezy conditions will turn windy. It will be noticeably cooler tomorrow and the coldest conditions will be around for the second half of the weekend.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 11 AM until 7 PM tomorrow due to very dry air and windy conditions making fire conditions critical. Burn bans are already in effect due to the drought, so be sure NOT to burn. A Small Craft Advisory goes into effect overnight and will be in place through Sunday.
The cooler conditions will stick around into the first portion of next week. Winds turn southerly by Tuesday and humidity will creep back up. Rain chances look to return by the middle to end of next week.
