10/5 – Jeff’s “Rain Arrives/Cold Front” Thursday Night Forecast
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around tonight up until around daybreak. Expect coverage of rain to drop off through the first portion of the morning. Cloud cover will be in place much of the day but some peeks of sun, and plenty of dry times are in store. There will be a 30-40% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon until the real changes arrive into the weekend.
Colder air and windy conditions will be working in for the weekend. Windy conditions Saturday will yield a Red Flag Warning on land, and a Small Craft Advisory on the water. Sunny skies will prevail for the weekend into the first part of next week.
Expect very cool starts and warm, but pleasant afternoons this weekend and less of a breeze for Sunday through about Tuesday. Some signals of a warm pattern arrive for next week beyond Tuesday but for now, enjoy the fall weather!
