10/4 – Jeff’s “Changing Pattern” Wednesday Night Forecast

Cloud cover will increase overnight and so will humidity. It will be partly cloudy out the door with slightly warmer temperatures. Southerly winds will dominate tomorrow and skies will remain an average of partly cloudy for your Thursday. Rain chances of 20% or so are possible at times during the day.

A cold front moving into our area will provide for a window of thunderstorm chances from Thursday evening into Friday morning. A brief heavy downpour and a strong, non-severe wind gust or two is possible. The front will make its way through South Mississippi Friday. There will be isolated rain chances in the afternoon prior to sunset.

The changes take shape Friday night and hold true through the weekend. The coolest/mildest air since spring will provide for cooler mornings and very nice afternoons. Plenty of sunshine will be around. Saturday will be breezy at times with colder air still working in. The pattern will gradually return to warmer times through next week.
