10/28 – Payton’s Sunday Night Forecast
Another beautiful weekend with sunny skies and lower humidity. This will continue into Monday and Tuesday before moisture starts to return Tuesday night into Wednesday. For Halloween on Wednesday there will be more cloud cover, breezier conditions and more humidity. Rain chances will increase Wednesday afternoon and night, but will remain fairly low until after midnight. Temperatures for Halloween will be in the mid to lower 70s. This all ahead of a strong cold front, which will move through on Thursday morning. The front will also bring heavy showers and thunderstorms Thursday morning through the afternoon. We’ll have to watch for a few strong to severe thunderstorms as this line move through on Thursday. On Friday and going into the weekend it’s going to beautiful with Fall temperatures and chilly mornings. Don’t forget to set your clocks back on hour Sunday night into Monday morning!
TROPICS: Hurricane Oscar is forecast to become a Category two storm as it turns to the north and moves through the Atlantic. No other tropical activity is expected over the next week.
