10/2 – Jeff’s “Nice Start To Week” Monday Night Forecast

Clear skies and light winds will remain overnight. Expect a very nice start out the door for your Tuesday with sunshine dominating the day. It will warm up into the mid-to-upper-80s but there will be breezy conditions for the afternoon. Wind gusts of 20-25 MPH are very much on the table for the beachfront.

The middle-to-end of the week will bring some changes. Winds gradually turn southerly by the middle of the week which will help bring more humidity into the picture. A few clouds and slightly warmer temperatures can be expected Wednesday. A storm system will make its way into our region for the end of the week.

Partly cloudy skies and a 20% chance of rainfall will be in play Thursday. The cold front will be making its way through South Mississippi for Friday. It will bring a 30% or so chance of thunderstorms with its passage. The rain chances will likely verify farther northwest as the front will lose upper-level support by the time it is here. A noticeable cool-down will come for the weekend.
