10/11 Ryan’s “Cold Front” Friday Evening Forecast

A strong cold front is finally bringing rain to South MS, and cooler, drier days after. Expect the rain to continue into the early morning hours, but conditions begin to improve rather quickly. All of the rain should be out of the area by noon, and even the skies will begin to clear through the evening, just not completely. This front is going to bring the most significant day-to-day change we’ve seen over the past several weeks.

Expect the high to fall from the mid 80s today, into the mid-70s by tomorrow!

These much cooler and drier conditions will sadly be short-lived though. Almost as soon as the front passes through South MS, it stalls, transitions into a warm front, and begins creeping northward again. This will bring the front back by Monday, increasing rain chances to 40% for the day. Temperatures climb quickly into the mid 80s by Tuesday, but fall again just as quickly after a mid-week front. Quite the temperature roller-coaster!
