1/30 – Jeff’s “Weak Cold Front” Tuesday Night Forecast

A weak cold front, packing no moisture and only a wind shift, makes it through our area overnight. Winds will turn to a north/northwesterly origin and become breezy at times tomorrow. Wednesday features lots of sunshine and a continuation of the same trend of a cool morning and mild afternoon. Thursday offers up more clouds in the form of mid-level and upper-level clouds.

Friday will bring a temporary sunny and warm one ahead of an unsettled pattern arriving for the weekend. A dynamic frontal system will move in Saturday and hang around the area into next week. Exact details will need fine tuning but a round of heavy rain will be in our area this weekend, bringing the possibility of flooding. Then, the system will slowly depart by early next week.
