1/29 – Jeff Vorick’s “Chilly Start” Monday Morning Forecast

It is chilly, but not frigid to start off this week. Morning temperatures a few degrees below average temperatures for the day will warm to near-seasonal averages in the low to mid 60s this afternoon under plenty of sunshine. Expect a light wind out of the north/northwest today into tonight.

Tomorrow will bring similar conditions with only a couple of subtle differences. Winds turn southerly in the afternoon and cloud cover will be streaming in. Mid and upper level clouds will stick around through a lot of this week beginning as soon as tomorrow.

A dry cold front moves through the region Wednesday into Thursday. That shot of colder air will keep temperatures near seasonal averages a bit longer towards the end of this week. In the extended forecast, there will be a frontal system that moves in by this weekend which will bring rain chances.
