1/25 – Jeff Vorick’s “Dense Fog/More Rain” Thursday Evening Forecast

Any leftover rain will be exiting the area this evening and there will be dry time overnight. Dense fog will settle in again and a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 AM Friday. There will be a 60% chance of thunderstorms beginning around 2 – 4 AM with the potential for a morning round of activity, and some possibility for another batch of thunderstorms through early afternoon.

Guidance is all over the place with exact timing but expect the possibility of on and off isolated thunderstorms during a window of time from tomorrow afternoon through early Saturday morning. Expect a potent round of showers and thunderstorms early Saturday possibly through the middle of the day. The rainy pattern will come to an end during the second half of Saturday as a final cold front makes its way through South Mississippi.
