1/22 – Payton’s Tuesday Evening Forecast

Breezy this afternoon with gusts up to 30mph…we’re also watching the rain begin. More rain is expected By tonight and through the overnight hours. Expect some showers for your Wednesday morning commute.The heaviest activity will move through by Wednesday late morning into the afternoon. A few strong thunderstorms could move through our coastal areas.The primary concern being for gusty winds and an isolated tornado/waterspout. The rain will stick around for much of the day before the cold front moves through. Temperatures will start warm on Wednesday but end chilly in the 40s. By Thursday morning we start to clear, but the cold air will be here with temperatures Thursday morning in the mid 30s with windchills in the lower 30s and upper 20s. Thursday’s high will peak in the mid 50s. Dry and chilly on Friday and Saturday before a few showers are possible by Sunday and Monday with temperatures in the mid 60s
